Vicious

Matthew 22:37 — Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”

I am not content

until

every part of You

consumes

every part of me.

I will never be free

until

every ounce of You

devours

every ounce of me.

To live

partial to You, Lord,

is to decay slowly

unto death

with a false hope

that partial

is enough.

Increase

my appetite,

my thirst,

my fervor

to seek You

viciously

until I breathe my last.
