Do You ever forget me,

Lord?

Do You ever tire

of my cries?

Or am I Your child,

Lord?

Am I always

on Your mind?

Even when I am

alone,

even when I am

afraid,

You are still with me.

If I ran

You would be waiting

at my destination.

If I drowned

I would find You

at the bottom.

How precious is

Your love

for me,

how precious is

Your pursuit

of me.
